How selling works
- ApplyFill in your details and upload your ID. Businesses add their DTI/SEC and BIR documents.
- Get verifiedA citybooks admin checks your documents. We'll tell you if anything is missing.
- Set up your storeAdd your logo, shipping fee, and how buyers pay you: GCash, Maya, bank, COD, or meetup.
- Sell and shipBuyers upload proof of payment. You confirm it, pack the order, and add the tracking number.
What you'll need
We verify every seller so buyers can pay with confidence. Your documents are only seen by the citybooks review team.
Individual sellers
- Valid government ID
- Selfie holding that ID
- Proof of address from the last 3 months
- A GCash, Maya, or bank account in your name
Registered businesses
- Everything above, for the owner or authorized representative
- DTI or SEC registration
- BIR Form 2303 and TIN
What we don't allow
- Pirated, photocopied, or counterfeit books
- Listings that misstate a book's condition
- Asking buyers to pay outside the payment details on your store
Payments go straight to your account. citybooks doesn't hold your money and doesn't charge listing fees during launch.
